How to prepare for Scholastic art and writing

 Let's take a look at how to prepare for the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition.

  • Here is the link to the entry information page. Please make sure to check the eligibility, deadline, and categories.

  • The competition is open to students in grades 7-12 (age 13 and up), and they can apply in 28 categories of art and writing.

  • The deadline varies by region. For Arizona, which is in the South region, the deadline is Tuesday, December 5 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.

  • Submissions are done online. First, create an account on the website, then upload your artwork and pay the entry fee online. The entry fee is $10 per category.

  • There are 17 art categories, and you can submit multiple entries. Here is a link where you can check the categories and previous award-winning works.

  • If students have interest in animation and comics preparing for the Editorial Cartoon or Comic category would be a good idea.

 Scholastic art and write 대회 준비를 하는 방법에 대해서 알아보겠습니다. 


-참가 방법에 대한 페이지 링크 입니다. 참가 대상, 데드라인, 카테고리를 꼭 확인해주세요. 




-참가 대상은 13세 이상 7-12학년 학생들이고 28개의 아트와 글쓰기 부문에 지원할 수 있습니다. 

-지역별로 데드라인이 조금씩 다른데 아리조나는 South region 이고 데드라인은 Tuesday, December 6 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time 입니다. 

-제출은 온라인으로 합니다. 
먼저 웹사이트에서 어카운트를 만드시고 작품 사진과 참가비를 온라인으로 내시면 됩니다. 
참가비는 카테고리 당 $10입니다. 

-17개의 아트 category 가 있고 중복 제출 가능합니다.

-수상작들 모은 pdf 링크입니다. 




-애니메이션이나 코믹에 관심이 많은 학생들은 Editorial cartoon 이나 comic 카테고리를 준비해도 좋을것 같습니다.
